The 18-year-old suspect in a shooting outside Frederick Douglass High School is wanted in connection with a shooting outside another Baltimore high school a week earlier.

Kyree Green is wanted by police for attempted murder and armed robbery, from two separate incidents.

Earlier this month, police were called to Frederick Douglass High School when a student said a man with a gun tried to rob him as he picked up his cap and gown. A gun went off, and the man ran away.

Green is, moments later, seen on surveillance footage from a convenience store.

A week earlier, police said Green walked up to a group of students as they left Forest Park High School in northwest Baltimore and shot without warning, hitting one person in the buttocks.

“Once we got his picture and his identity in that second video, then the victims and witnesses were able to identify him also,” Donne Moses, a Baltimore Police Department spokesman, said.

Police have said they believe Green frequents the area around the 900 block of West Lexington Street, but have so far come up empty handed. Police said anyone that is harboring or helping Green could also face charges.

“We feel like he’s comfortable as long as he has a firearm,” Moses said. “We feel like he is armed and we need to get him off the streets.”
