The management of a popular Federal Hill Bar says it is “shocked and appalled” that four people were stabbed  there early Saturday morning.

Police arrested 17-year-old Shawn Guzman of Baltimore County. He was charged with three counts of attempted murder and three counts of aggravated assault.

Police said around 1:30 a.m. two groups were fighting inside Club Banditos in the 1100 block of South Charles Street when four men were stabbed.  Guzman allegedly stabbed three men during the fight including accidentally cutting himself.

In a statement Club Banditos management said they “don't condone or tolerate underage drinking or violence within our establishment.  That is not who we are and contradicts everything we stand for.”

The statement continued, “We are doing everything in our power to fully cooperate with the authorities, and we are also conducting our own internal investigation. Once that is complete, we will evaluate what we can do to ensure Banditos remains a safe, welcoming and fun destination for residents and visitors to the area.”

Police said three of the victims had non-life threatening injuries, while a fourth was hospitalized in serious but stable condition.
