Police: Weekend shootings leave 2 men injured

Baltimore City Police were dispatched to an area hospital for reports of a walk-in shooting victim Friday.

Upon arrival officers located a 47-year-old man who was suffering from a gunshot wound to his left shoulder.

According to police, the victim was sitting in his vehicle when an unknown gunman tapped on his window and stated for him to “get out of the car”. The victim drove away as the gunman fired into the vehicle.

Officers responded to the 2100 block of Maryland Avenue around 7:30 a.m. for reports of a shooting Saturday.

Upon arrival officers located a 42-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest.

According to police, two unknown suspects approached the victim and shot him.

The victim was transported to an area hospital where he is in serious condition.
