An associate pastor was shot in the 2900 block of Rosalind Avenue at approximately 7:30 a.m. Friday.
Latrina Ashburne, 41, was shot in the upper body. She was transported to a local hospital where she died.
According to police, the victim was getting into her vehicle when she was approached by an unidentified male suspect. She tried to run, but was shot.
