BALTIMORE, Md. - Police are looking for the suspect they say fired several rounds at a Baltimore man, wounding him in his arm and torso.
Shortly after 6:20 p.m., officers responded to the Unit Block of North Payston Street for a reported shooting.
When they got there, they found a 46-year-old man who had been shot in the arm and torso. Preliminary investigation suggested that the victim was approached by an unknown man who, after showing a handgun, fired multiple gunshots before fleeing the scene. Police believe the motive for the incident was robbery.
The victim is in surgery at an area hospital, and is listed in critical condition.
