Baltimore police are searching for a man who escaped from police custody Thursday afternoon.
Police said 41-one-year-old Vernon Goode, who was arrested on a domestic violence warrant, slipped out of his handcuffs at the Central District around 5:15 Thursday afternoon. He escaped on foot.
Vernon Goode is a medium complexioned black male who is 5' 10" tall and weighs about 215 lbs. He has neck length dred-locks and was last seen wearing a short sleeve burgundy shirt, dark jeans, and was carrying a black book bag with braided stitching.
Anyone who has seen or knows of Goode's whereabouts should call 911 immediately.
