Police investigating deadly overnight shootings

Police are investigating two deadly overnight shootings in Baltimore City.

Around 9:50 Friday night police were dispatched to the 1700 block of Sherwood Avenue for a report of a shooting. When officers arrived they were directed to a rear alley where they found the victim. He was taken to an area hospital where he died an hour later.

Another man was shot around 2 a.m. in northeast Baltimore, police said. Police responded to the 100 block of Mount Street where they found an unresponsive man laying on the ground.  He was taken to Shock Trauma where he died a short time later.
