Police investigate S. Baltimore shooting

BALTIMORE -  

Baltimore police are looking for a suspect in a south Baltimore shooting that sent a man to the hospital Monday morning.

According to authorities, just before 11:30 a.m. Baltimore City Sherriff's deputies heard gunshots while parked in their car on Hollins Ferry Road. Upon investigation they found a man shot in the back and right knee in the 2500 block of Marbourne Avenue.

The victim told police that an unknown man shot him. He was taken to an area hospital for treatment.

Police are investigating.
