Police hunt for suspects in Fells Point beating

A surveillance camera outside The Horse You Came in on Saloon in Fells Point was able the grab some very clear images of three men Baltimore City Police really want to talk to.  Investigators say back on Sunday July 26^th around 1:30AM the trio attacked and assaulted a 23-year-old man.

"It appears the 23-year-old was trying to be a good citizen and try to break up something that was going on, and then he got attacked by these three guys," said T.J. Smith with Baltimore City Police.

It happened not far from Broadway Square.  The victim was so beat up he ended up in hospital with multiple broken bones in his face.

Police say it's unacceptable, but it does look like an isolated incident.

"I mean you never really hear about those kinds of things,” said Ilana Katz.  “Especially not in Fells Point, not in the main drag of bars where everyone is out at 1:30 in the morning, it's pretty alive over here."

"That's intense, I’ve never heard of that, and I always thought of this as a safe place, so that's pretty crazy," Bilal Khokhar said.

Now the hunt is on for the trio to get justice for the victim.

"They caused some serious injuries to his face, so right now we're trying to ID these people and we could use the communities help in getting these bad guys,” said Smith.
