A man was shot in the leg following a domestic dispute.
When medics arrived in the 3000 block of Echodale Avenue Sunday, they applied a tourniquet to the victim's injury in order to stop the bleeding.
The victim was taken to an area hospital where he is expected to survive.
Investigators say the shooting was linked to a domestic dispute. Police said the 45-year-old suspect remained on the scene and was arrested. The firearm used was also recovered.
The suspect is currently at Citywide Shooting offices where he is being interviewed. He will be transported to Central Booking where he will be formally charged.
