On Thursday Baltimore Police continue to search for the person who shot and killed a Baltimore City Homicide Detective.
ATF, the FBI, the Governor's office, Anne Arundel County, and Metro Crime Stoppers are offering a reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction of whoever pulled the trigger. Someone also made a private donation which raises the total to $190,000.

Right now, police don't have much of a description of the shooter, so they're hoping witnesses will come forward and help them identify the gunman. Officers have cordoned off a huge area around the shooting scene, they are going door to door, and they're searching every alley in the area.

Baltimore Police say the 18-year veteran, Detective Sean Suiter, was shot in the head near Fremont Ave. and West Franklin Street while working on an investigation around 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Police say this is an extremely dangerous area of the city.
Commissioner Kevin Davis says Detective Suiter was doing a follow up on a case he'd been working on when he confronted a man who was acting suspiciously. Minutes later the man shot the detective in the head and took off.
"There's no doubt in my mind that we're going to identify him, we're going to arrest him, we're going to ensure that justice is done," said Commissioner Davis.
Detective Sean Suiter died on Thursday afternoon.
