Baltimore police arrested a man wanted in connection to a stabbing whose brutal aftermath was streamed live on Facebook.
Martin Coleman, 24, is charged with 1st and 2nd degree attempted murder, assault and reckless endangerment in the July 15 stabbing of rapper and safe streets activist Tyree Colion.
Colion was hospitalized for several days in stable, but critical condition.
In a wide-ranging Facebook post on Friday Colion admitted he had made mistakes in his life, but vowed to continue his work in the community. “It’s 20 no shoot zones,” he said. “And I promise you after my release today, by next week it’ll be 30 [expletive] no shoot zones.”
