A man who police say committed several crimes in North Carolina, then fled to Baltimore, shot and killed himself when officers showed up to arrest him Tuesday afternoon.
The man committed a robbery and a home invasion in North Carolina, state police said, then came to Baltimore where he had ties.
When police arrived at the home where he was staying in the area of Loch Raven Boulevard and Northern Parkway, they found a stolen car from North Carolina.
The man came out onto the back porch waving the gun, then he turned the gun on himself and committed suicide, police said.
