A pitbull believed to have been stolen for dog fighting has been found.
The dog’s owners took to Facebook early Friday, saying 3-year-old Knox was found “tied to a tree 1/2 block from the house and just got back.”

The owners said they’re grateful for the community’s support.
“Thank you so much to this community and to all of his supporters for everything you have done to make this happen. Whoever had him knew they were on borrowed time and gave up.”

Knox was stolen from his home Wednesday during a burglary in the 200 block of W. 27th Street. The owners offered a $4,000 reward for his return.
