Man's body pulled from water in south Baltimore

BALTIMORE - Baltimore Police and Fire members pulled the body of a man from the water late Monday afternoon in south Baltimore.

According to police, around 3:30 p.m. officers were called to the areas around Kloman and Stockholm streets for reports of a body floating in the water.

When police arrived they found the body of a male floating in the water.

Baltimore City Fire crews pulled the victim from the water and pronounced the man deceased.

Police have identified the man as 21-year-old Vashon Christopher, Jr.

The body was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for an autopsy to determine the cause of death, police said.
