BALTIMORE - Police are investigating after a man was shot while riding his bicycle in East Baltimore Monday afternoon.
According to Baltimore City Police, at approximately 3:15 p.m. officers responded to the intersection of Monument and Madison Streets for reports of a shooting.
When police arrived they found a 20-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his body.
The victim was transported to a local hospital where he is listed in critical but stable condition, police said.
Investigators believe the victim was riding a bike in the 1200 block of East Monument Street when he was shot by an unknown suspect.
