A 41-year-old Baltimore man was sentenced to 10 years in prison Tuesday for his role in a heroin drug trafficking organization.
Investigators from multiple law enforcement agencies, including the FBI, say Wayne Lampkin of Baltimore planned to purchase heroin, process at a location within 1,000 feet of a charter school in Baltimore city and sell.
A jury found that Lampkin and another man attempted to sell between one and three kilograms of the drug.
Michael Felton, 40, was previously sentenced to 20 years in prison for his role in the attempted distribution of the drug with Lampkin.
Lampkin's prison sentence will be followed by eight years of supervised release.
