BALTIMORE (AP) -
A 65-year-old man has been sentenced to nearly four years in prison in a credit card skimming scheme.
Ronald Louis Coleman of Baltimore was also ordered to pay more than $100,000 in restitution at sentencing Thursday.
According to his plea agreement, Coleman gave a skimmer device to an employee at a restaurant. The device obtained card numbers from patrons as they paid their bills.
Coleman used the information to encode blank cards with stolen numbers and he and others used cards to get cash and make purchases.
