Man murdered in southeast Baltimore Friday morning

A man was shot and killed in southeast Baltimore.

The call to police came in at 6:55 a.m. Friday. Officers responded to the 3400 block of Noble Street near North Highland Avenue and found a man with several gunshot wounds to his chest.

The man, who has not been identified, was taken to Johns Hopkins Hospital where he later died.

Police say two men approached the victim and opened fire without warning. The gunmen were last seen running towards Conkling Street and may have gotten into a gray four door vehicle.

This is the 311 homicide in the city this year.
