Baltimore detectives were notified of a reported abuse at the Boston Street Animal Hospital.
Detectives say that during their investigation they were informed of three incidents that involved 57-year-old Gregory Burbelo, who was a veterinarian of the facility.
In their investigation, two incidents that happened early November involved Burbelo using his hands to attack a dog inside the animal hospital. The other incident, which also happened on the same day, Burbelo used a clipboard to attack another dog. In late October, Burbelo attacked a third dog during his treatment at the animal hospital.
Officials believe that Burbelo threatened his employees at the animal hospital so that they wouldn't report the attacks.
Gregory Burbelo has been arrested and charged with several counts of animal cruelty, aggravated animal cruelty, and witness intimidation related charges.
