BALTIMORE - City Homicide detectives were called to East Baltimore after a man was found suffering from a serious gunshot wound Monday evening.
According to Baltimore City Police, at approximately 8:30 p.m. officers responded to the 2800 block of East Eager Street for reports of a shooting.
When emergency personnel arrived, they found an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound to his head.
The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment, police said.
Due to the severity of the victim's injuries, police called homicide detectives to investigate.
The man's condition was not immediately available.
