BALTIMORE - Homicide Detectives were called to assist officers from the Northeast District after a man was shot in the head early Wednesday evening.
According to Baltimore City Police, officers and emergency personnel were called to the 2400 block of Pickering Drive for a reported shooting.
When police arrived, they found a 59-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to his head.
Police say the victim was last listed in critical condition at a local hospital.
Because of the severity of the victim's injuries, police say homicide detectives were called to the scene to investigate.
