Group of kids attack bus driver, go for joy ride in Baltimore

BALTIMORE - A group of kids attacked a driver before carjacking his school bus and going for a joy ride, a Baltimore police spokesman said.

Three kids were taken into custody. Police are so far unsure if others were involved.

The bus was parked in the 700 block of West Lexington Street at about 2:35 p.m. A group of children boarded the bus and assaulted the driver. The driver fled the bus, escaping with only minor injuries.

The kids drove the bus around the block and parked it in the back of the 700 block of Lexington Street before running away.
