Espinoza-Perez sentenced in child deaths


BALTIMORE (WMAR) -- A man convicted of conspiring to kill three children will now spend the rest of his life in prison. 
Policarpio Espinoza-Perez was convicted in March of his role in the deaths of three children in May 2004, today, Espinoza-Perez was sentenced to life in prison for three counts of conspiracy. 
The 2004 murders were shocking as 10-year-old Alexis Espejo Quezada, 9-year-old Ricardo Espinoza, Jr., and 8-year-old Lucero Espinoza were nearly beheaded. 
A second suspect in the killings, Adan Espinoza Canela is set to begin his trial next month.
