BALTIMORE - Baltimore City Detectives are investigating after a teen was found with a gunshot wound to his chest in Southeast Baltimore Tuesday afternoon.
According to police, emergency personnel responded to the 6100 block of Boston Street after 3 p.m. for a report of a shooting.
When officers arrived, they found a 15-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to his chest.
Emergency crews transported the victim to an area hospital where he is expected to survive.
The teen's exact condition was not immediately available.
Detectives from the Southeast District remained in the neighborhood following up on leads and continue to work on identifying a suspect.
