Councilwoman Rikki Spector spoke out for the first time since she was attacked and assaulted in a parking garage in downtown Baltimore.

Two teens have been arrested after robbing her and trying to take her car on Friday.

They threw her to the ground and drove off, but the garage had a security controlled gate so they couldn't get out of the garage.

"I know in my holy of holies if they had gotten my car, they would've hurt somebody, they would've killed somebody," Spector said. "There is something radically wrong with our juvenile justice system."

Councilwoman Spector is the longest living elected official in the state of Maryland. She's been on the Council since 1977.
