BALTIMORE - Members from the city homicide team are investigating after a man was found shot multiple times Tuesday evening in southwest Baltimore.
According to Baltimore City Police, at 7:38 p.m. officers responded to the 700 block of North Augusta Avenue for a report of gun shots being heard in the area.
When police arrived they found a 27-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment, police say.
The man's condition was not immediately available.
Due to the severity of the victim's injuries, homicide detectives were called to the area to investigate.
