Baltimore police investigating two shootings that happened early Thursday

Baltimore police are investigating a pair of shootings that happened within minutes of each other early Thursday.

Police said a man was shot in his back in the 2400 block of West Franklin Street at 2:46 a.m. He was transported to an area hospital for medical treatment, and is in stable condition. Western District detectives are investigating this incident.

At 2:50 a.m. Thursday, two men were shot in the 4100 block of Norfolk Avenue in Baltimore.

City officers found two men suffering from gunshot wounds to their bodies. The victims were both transported to an area hospital for treatment.
