Baltimore police investigate fatal shooting in northeast

Baltimore police are investigating a fatal shooting in the city’s northeastern district, according to a release from the department.

The victim has so far not been identified by police. The shooting marks the 67th homicide of the year. 

Officers were dispatched to the 3400 block of Dudley Avenue in response to a 911 call about a shooting.

Police found the victim suffering from several gunshot wounds, according to the release.

The man was taken to a nearby hospital although, “despite medical efforts he was pronounced dead at 12:07 a.m.”
