Baltimore police ID two more homicide victims

BALTIMORE - Baltimore police have identified two of the city’s most recent homicide victims.

Keith Allan Laboard, 27, of the 4300 block of Berger Ave., was killed late Sunday night. Police said at approximately 11:49 p.m., officers patrolling in the 500 Block of Sheridan Ave. were flagged down be residents for a man shot in the stomach. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced deceased at 12:44 a.m. by medical staff.

The other homicide victim identified was Kevin Butler, 29, of the 500 block of Yale Ave, who was killed Aug. 1.

Police said at 1:50 am, officers responded to 500 block of Collins Ave. for a shooting in the block. Upon arrival officers located a man suffering from a gunshot wound to his chest. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced deceased at 2:54 a.m. by medical staff.

There have now been 121 homicides recorded in Baltimore City in 2014. This includes six since July 30.
