BALTIMORE - A 25-year-old man has been arrested in the rape of a 13-year-old girl, Baltimore City police said.
Robert Ansel Cason, 25, was charged with second-degree rape, second-, third- and fourth-degree sex offense, sex abuse of a minor and second-degree assault in connection with the case, police said.
Police said the girl reported she was raped April 5 in the 1700 block of East 28th Street on April 5. According to charging documents, the girl said that she was pregnant and that she had been staying with her boyfriend, "Robert." The girl told investigators that “Robert” was 20 and that she ran away a few days ago to stay with him.
According to charging documents, the girl’s mother said she told the suspect how old her daughter was and to stay away from her.
Police eventually discovered multiple addresses for Cason before arresting him.
