Baltimore police arrest 9 in search and seizure operation

BALTIMORE - Nine people were arrested in Northeast Baltimore after city police executed 24 search and seizure warrants in the Coldstream-Homestead-Montebello or “Chum” area of the city. 

Baltimore police Commissioner Anthony Batts praised the State’s Attorney’s Office for their assistance in the investigation noting the two organizations collaborative efforts help to create a safer city. The Anne Arundel Police Department, Baltimore County Police Department and the FBI were also involved in this operation.

As part of the raid, law enforcement groups recovered a .22 cal revolver, a .22 cal rifle, 12 gauge shotgun, a significant amount of ammunition, 2 oz. of heroin, $3,343, a bag of marijuana, 15.6 grams of Molly, packaging material, cutters, scales and sifters.
