Troy McLean, 26, of the 1500 block of N. Carey Street in Baltimore, was arrested and charged Tuesday with first- and second-degree murder, armed robbery, first-degree assault and five related charges.

The charges stem from a Jan. 18 stabbing in the 2300 block of Wheeler Avenue in Baltimore.

Around 5 a.m. that day, Baltimore Police were called to the scene where they found Arrington Michael Sydnor, 29, suffering from stab wounds to his neck and face, police said.

Snydor was taken to an area hospital where he later died.

McLean was being held without bail at the Baltimore City Detention Center, online court records show.
