BALTIMORE - Two men suffering from gunshot wounds ended up in a Baltimore hospital Tuesday night: one walked in, the other was carried.
Officers were dispatched to the 500 block of E. 35th Street for a report of a shooting at around 8:42 p.m. Baltimore police found a man who had been shot multiple times in the chest.
"Due to the severity of the victim's injuries, homicide detectives were called to the scene," according to a release from spokesman Det. Brandon Echevarria.

A few minutes earlier, officers were called to a Baltimore hospital to question a man who checked in with a gunshot wound to his leg.

Both cases remain under investigation. Police did not say if both cases are linked.
It's the second night in a row that detectives were called to investigate a pair of shooting in Baltimore. One man died from wounds suffered in a shooting in the 1500 block of Pennsylvania Avenue. Another man who was shot in the head in the 2800 block of East Eager Street is still alive, although his condition is not known.
