A violent Labor Day weekend in Baltimore that included four triple shootings left two people dead and a dozen others injured, police said.
"It's despicable, frustrating and ridiculous honestly," T.J. Smith, Baltimore Police Chief of Media Relations said.
The violence began Saturday, when a 4-year-old girl and an 6-year-old boy, as well as a 61-year-old woman, suffered non-life threatening injuries in a shooting in the 900 block of McAleer Court.

"A guy who left a dice game came back with a gun...When drug dealers on drug dealers shoot each other it's almost acceptable, it's something that people know happens and we don't like it one way or another but when four year olds and six year olds are the victims of violent crime like this, that's crossing a line," Smith said.
The gunman's target was never hit.
On Sunday night, there was another triple shooting in the 2300 block of Wilkins Avenue. A 29-year-old man was shot in the chest. He was transported to the hospital where he later died.
A 62-year-old woman suffered a gunshot wound to the arm. She was transported to the hospital and is currently listed in good condition.
While officers were at the scene of the shooting, a third victim, a 29-year-old man walked into an area hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg. He is currently in stable condition.
Sunday at approximately 9:38 p.m., officers located a shooting victim in the 1600 block of North Ellamont. The victim, a 21-year-old man was shot in the buttocks. The victim was transported to an area hospital and is currently listed in stable condition.
At approximately 1 a.m. Monday, officers responded to yet another a triple shooting in the 2600 block of East Monument Street. A 23-year-old woman suffered a gunshot wound to the leg, 22-year-old woman was shot in the abdomen, and a 34-year-old man was shot in the chest.
All three victims were transported to a hospital for treatment. The man was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Police say the two women were shooting at one another, the 23-year-old was pregnant. She delivered her baby safely and is recovering from the gun shot wound.
Right around the corner from this shooting, a mother to be heard the shots.
"I was really scared, then you see the lights, and then I heard about the pregnant lady . I was really worried," Heather Joyner said.
She lived on this block for a year and is now looking for a new place for her and her husband to move.
At 2 a.m. Monday morning, police responded to the 700 block of Mura Street, where officers again found three people who had been shot.
Two victims are currently in critical condition after suffering gunshot wounds to their bodies. The other victim was grazed in the arm and refused medical assistance.
"They're apart but we're looking at many of these incidents as retalitory or even connected," Smith said.
Hours after those two shooting incidents, officers were called to the 2100 block in Aiken Ave for a report of a 16-year-old teen shot.
Detectives on the scene say the teen victim was shot in here left calf and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, where she remains in stable condition.

Police say before this violent weekend, there had not been a murder in five days.
