Two of the seven Baltimore City police officers charged in a racketeering conspiracy are due in court Friday.

Officers Maurice Ward and Evodio Hendrix both have rearraignments in the afternoon. At a rearraignment the defendants can change their pleas, or the charges against them could be charged.

Ward and Hendrix as well as Sergeant Wayne Jenkins, and officers Daniel Hersl, Marcus Taylor, Momondu Gando, and Jemell Rayam are accused of overtime fraud, falsifying reports, extortion, and robbing civilians. Their trials are set to begin in January of 2018.
