A 15-year-old was shot in the forehead in west Baltimore while he was walking home with his brother.
Police say it happened early Tuesday morning in 1600 block of West Franklin Street.
The teen shot is listed in grave condition.

Baltimore Police say the shooting could be connected to another shooting that happened minutes earlier less than a mile away.
For Darreyl Carter, news of a shooting right next to where he lives on West Franklin Street is rattling.
“It’s very sad for a youth like that – that young. It’s very sad, very sad,” Carter said.
Sad, he says, because he has a son three years younger than the 15-year-old hours earlier Tuesday morning.
While Carter says he was at work during the shooting, he’s worried the teen was a victim of the streets.
“That’s the sad thing about it. That’s the reason why I stay on top on my son the way I do. So he won’t get caught up in the madness that’s going on out here,” he said.
Madness that’s frustrating for Baltimore Chief T.J. Smith.
Police say the 15-year-old’s shooting happened minutes after another shooting in the 1700 block of West Lexington Street about a mile away.
A 19-year-old was shot there.

“…stupidity. I mean I don’t know what motivates somebody to shoot another person. It’s stupidity and it’s sickening,” Smith said.
Strong words to describe two shootings investigators are sure are connected.
“We do believe that these incidents are likely connected given the proximity and given the vague suspect description that we have, given the time that occurred, and certainly what they said to the victims in this case,” Smith said.
Similar robbery attempts, similar ballistics, even similar times.
A time of night, Carter feels, that’s a dangerous one.
“After a certain time, there’s nothing good after a certain time at night any way unless you’re going to work or going to a specific place,” he said.
The 19-year-old is expected to survive his injuries.
Police have little information on a suspect description, but investigators know they’re looking for at least two people.
They also have ‘conflicting’ reports on a car description, so they haven’t released those details.
