Police: Two shootings only three hours apart in Baltimore

City detectives are investigating two shootings in Baltimore that happened only hours apart Tuesday night.

The first shooting was near E. 25th Street. Police said just before 8 p.m. officers responded to the 2400 block of Barclay Street for a reported shooting.

Once on scene, officers discovered two men, ages 29 and 44, shot several times. 

Both victims were taken to area hospitals for treatment. According to police, the 44-year-old victim died shortly after arriving to Johns Hopkins Hospital. 

The second shooting happened three hours later on West Pratt Street. 

Police responded to the scene and found a woman shot. She was rushed to the hospital where she is expected to be okay.
