1 dead, 1 injured after Northeast Baltimore shooting Saturday

Baltimore Police are investigating a double shooting that happened Saturday morning in Northeast Baltimore that left one person dead and another injured.

Just before 6:30 a.m. officers were dispatched to the 2900 block of Harview Avenue for a reported shooting.

According to police, at the scene they discovered a 51-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the head and a 57-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the shoulder.

The victims were transported to an area hospital, where the 51-year-old man was pronounced dead. The 57-year-old man is in stable condition, but police said he’s not cooperating with investigators.

Police said detectives believe this homicide may have been domestic related.
