A woman was attacked at an Annapolis playground Sunday, according to police.
She was at a playground at Wiley G. Bates Middle School on Chase Street watching her children play when a man walked up to her, police said.
The man asked for her phone number, and when she said no, the man grabbed her arm and tried to kiss her. She pulled away, and yelled she was going to call the police.
"She's a young mother, she has her small child with her, and to have a guy approach her and do this, it's definitely disconcerting," Cpl. Amy Miguez of the Annapolis Police Department said.
The woman said the man ran off in the direction of the woods behind the school. Police searched for the suspect, but haven't made an arrest just yet.
