An Annapolis woman was robbed at knifepoint in front of her children Tuesday night.
The woman returned to her home in the 900 block of Spa Road with her children and found man armed with a knife inside.
Police said the man held a knife to her throat and demanded money. The children ran from the apartment and the woman escaped shortly thereafter. A driver who stopped to help the children flagged down officer who happened to be driving through the area.
The suspect, who was wearing a mask, stole a blue, white and black BMX-style children’s bike, which he used to get away on Smithville Street towards Russell Street.
There were no signs of forced entry, police said.
