School’s out for summer, but crime isn't. Two different schools were broken into in the past couple of days in Anne Arundel County.
Now, two different police departments are relying on you to be detectives.
It was a little after three in the morning at Bates Middle School in Annapolis. When police arrived, they did not find anyone there. But, they did find the next best thing.
Police were able to follow up and find some video showing the suspect inside the school.
Annapolis police recovered the video of the man walking the hallways of the school. Earlier in the week, Anne Arundel County police pulled similar security video of two men breaking into Crofton Elementary School.
Because of technology, the quality of video is much better than it was in the past.
Unlike in the past, when police would just put a wanted picture flyer on a telephone pole, police take advantage of new social media like Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.
With all those eyes, police say they are often able to identify a suspect within an hour.
If you think you know any of the suspects in the video above, contact the Annapolis Police Department.
