Two robbery incidents in Anne Arundel Saturday

There were two separate robbery related incidents Saturday in Anne Arundel County.

Shortly after 4 in the morning, officers responded to the 7-11 on Baltimore and Annapolis Boulevard for a disturbance.  When they got there, they found a 32-year-old woman who got in a fight with an unidentified man and had her debit cards, an undisclosed amount of money, and pack of cigarettes stolen before the man fled the scene in a white Pontiac Grand Prix.

Then, at 11 p.m., a man was sitting in his car at the McDonalds on 11th Avenue and Ritchie Highway when he was approached by a man and a woman.  He was apparently punched in the face before the individuals demanded his money.  After falling back into his vehicle with the man assaulting him, he was able to start his car and drive with the suspects in the car.  They left his vehicle shortly thereafter and fled on foot.  The victim sustained injuries and was taken to Harbor Hospital where he was treated and released.

The suspects in the McDonald's incident were later identified as Leonard Alfred Williams, 25, of Brooklyn, Md., and Nastassia Marie Williams, 28, of Glen Burnie, and charged with attempted robbery, second degree assault.  Williams was also charged with possession of marijuana.

The suspect in the 7-11 incident was described as a black male, heavy build,chin strap beard, standing approximately 5-foot-10 to 6-feet in height.  Any information should be relayed to Metro Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-866-7LOCKUP.
