Two arrested for armed robbery in Glen Burnie

GLEN BURNIE, Md - Two men were arrested for armed robbery Monday after fleeing from police.

Anne Arundel County police arrived at Hiddenbrook Drive at Silent Shadow Court in Glen Burnie just after 9:20 p.m. after reports of the robbery came in.

Upon arrival, officers spoke with two adult victims who said they were approached by several suspects as they were getting into their vehicle.

One of the suspects was armed with a handgun. He demanded cash and property.  The victims complied with the suspect’s demands and surrendered what they had.

The suspects fled the scene, but the victims were able to follow the suspects and guide officers to their location.

The suspects parked the vehicle near Chalet Dr. Officers. Police observed one suspect running from the vehicle.  They also noticed that both passenger side doors were open.

A K-9 tracked from the vehicle and alerted on a port-a-pot that was in the area. Inside, they found the suspect, Dwight Gunter, 23, of Brooklyn. As officers continued to search the area, they were able to locate a second suspect, Keith McKinney, 25, of Curtis Bay.
