Three boys arrested in connection to July robberies

Annapolis police have arrested three boys in connection to two robberies that took place July 21 on Franklin Street.

Albert Gross, 20, and two juveniles, ages 12 and 14 respectively, have been charged for their actions on July 21.  That day, two men were walking separately on Franklin Street when they were assaulted from behind by a group of five to eight boys.  The men were robbed of their wallets, and one of the men also was robbed of his keys and cell phone.  Both men were visibly injured, and one was knocked unconscious.

After investigating, police identified Gross and the two juveniles as suspects in the robberies.  They got arrest warrants and charged Gross with two counts of robbery, two counts of theft, and first and second degree assault.  The two juveniles, whose identities will not be revealed, were charged with robberies on juvenile citations.
