Three arrested for stealing Glen Burnie woman's car

Glen Burnie, Md. - Two men and one woman were arrested and charged yesterday with auto theft and other related charges, according to the Anne Arundel County Police.

Chanel Brown, 21, Ryan Jeffrey Morgan, 22, and Bryan Lee Brooks, 24, were placed into custody early this morning in Glen Burnie.

According to police, officers responded to a report of a stolen car in the 500 block of Crestpark Drive around 6:50 a.m on Wednesday.

Officers spoke to the 43-year-old female victim, who said she was warming up her car when she went back inside her home and left the silver Mazda MPV unattended. When she returned a short time later, the vehicle was missing.

Around 2:20 a.m. Friday, an officer pulled into the Exxon gas parking lot in the 8000 block of Crain Highway and found the stolen car occupied by five suspects.

When the officer drove closer to the van, two suspects exited the car and fled the scene. Brown, Morgan and Brooks were the three remaining suspect and arrested.
