A 17-year-old was arrested after cutting someone with a knife during a road rage incident on Monday morning.

Police arrived to the Kohl's parking lot in the 500 block on Ritchie Highway in Severna Park, where the motorist, James Aaron Soliman, was confronting another driver. The two were driving northbound on Ritchie Highway from College Parkway, when they pulled into Kohl's to settle their road rage.

The confrontation ended with Soliman pulling out a folding knife and slicing the victim in the upper arm. Officials transported the victim to the hospital for treatment. The victim was released with a minor penetrating wound.

Soliman was charged as an adult with first and second degree assault, reckless endangerment and weapons violations.
