Two teenage boys are facing robbery charges after police say they robbed another teen of his bike Saturday in Glen Burnie.
Anne Arundel County police were called to the 7800 block of Bruton Drive. When officers arrived, they found a 14-year-old boy who said two young males walked up to him and asked what he had said to them, according to police.
One of the young men then punched the victim in the face while the other took the victim’s bike. Both attackers ran away.
A witness told police he recognized one of the attackers and agreed to show officers where that boy lived, according to police.
As they were driving, they saw another young man and the witness identified him as one of the attackers. After that young man was taken into custody, an officer and the witness continued to the house the witness mentioned and they found the other suspect there.
A 16-year-old Pasadena boy is charged as a juvenile with robbery, assault and theft less than $1,000. A 14-year-old Glen Burnie boy is charged with robbery and theft less than $1,000 in connection with the incident.
The victim was taken to Baltimore Washington Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.
