LAUREL, Md. - Four suspects tried to rob a 17-year-old as he left a house party in Laurel.
Police say around 10 p.m. Friday, the victim was leaving a party and was in the intersection of Rippling Way and Oak Run Road when four men approached him and demanded his wallet and cell phone. When the teen refused to hand over his property, a suspect punched him in the face numerous times.
The four suspects fled on foot without the victim’s property.
The victim was taken to Laurel Regional Hospital for treatment of facial injuries.
Police were unable to find the suspects in the area.
Detectives are investigating.
