ODENTON, Md. - A teen is in trouble with the law after he broke into an elementary school early Thursday morning in Odenton and tried to steal candy and a laser pointer.
Anne Arundel County police said they responded to Seven Oaks Elementary School around 1:30 a.m. When they got there, they found a shattered window, and a 15-year-old boy allegedly running away from the school with stolen candy and a laser pointer.
Police arrested him, charged him as a juvenile with burglary, theft and destruction of property. They released him to his parents.
